"So you're an expert?" was a quote repeatedly delivered by Senators defenceman Andy Sutton after he delivered a hard hit on Jordan Leopold during Game 2 of the 2010 Eastern Conference Quarterfinal.
Sutton faced reporters after the Game 2 loss and was asked if he knew whether his elbow came up and hit Leopold in the head. The exchange went something like this:
Reporter: "You didn't know your elbow came up and hit him in the head?"
Sutton: "Are you asking me or are you telling me?"
Reporter: "No I'm asking you"
Sutton: "You're an expert?"
Reporter: "No it was on the replay"
Sutton: "So you're an expert?"
Reporter: "No it was on the replay"
Sutton: "So you saw it, you're saying you saw it, you're an expert?
Reporter: "Yes."
Sutton: "You're not an expert"
Reporter: "I'm saying I saw it. I'm asking did you know you got your elbow up?
Sutton: "You're telling I got my elbow up?"
Reporter: "It was on the replay"
Sutton: "You're an expert? You know it was up?"
Ottawa media guy: "Ok that's it guys. Thank you."
